Developer SethR Posted October 15, 2014 Developer Share Posted October 15, 2014 Not quite. You will, at some point, be able to host a dedicated server that is associated with your account. However, this is different than starting a server through the game as it exists right now and leaving it running with your character (and, eventually, ghost) in the game. If you do that, you won't be able to log into that same Steam account elsewhere without taking the server down, as your Steam account will get logged out. Monkey_BBZ Posted October 15, 2014 Share Posted October 15, 2014 If you do that, you won't be able to log into that same Steam account elsewhere without taking the server down, as your Steam account will get logged out.They did add In-Home Streaming, which did circumvent the whole logging off on one computer, then logging in on another, but it only works in LAN and it will end up kicking you from the game if you attempt to open it from another computer anyway, so it's still the same problem really.
