"Which mods do you think you will use in conjunction with DST?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~BANNED MODS?~~~~~Are there any characters that you would BAN from your server?Ones that people know will break the game or just will be completely incompatible.Will there be a choice to make it so that no mods are allowed unless otherwise specified. (To keep out the riff-raff)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~YOUR PREFERENCES ~~~~~What do you think? Who will you play? What mods do you think will work initially? So whoever's hosting will determine what mods are being used, and people who connect will automatically download and activate the mods while connected to that server. I think having different sets of mods on client and server is a hairy situation that Klei would most likely want to avoid, as DST isn't going to start out compatible with mods, and it'll be way easier to update mods for compatibility if you can assume that everyone has the same set of mods. ... so that means I don't think banning mods will be a situation at all, or any other meta-mod stuff. I'm sorry if my response rubbed you the wrong way. I just meant to note that mod moderation (ban/restrict) most likely won't be a thing. I wasn't trying to say the rest of the thread was pointless, I just don't use any character mods myself so I have nothing else to add to the other topics of this thread...
