Guardian Pigs into Werewolves

I have not gotten the berry bush with guardian pig set piece in a while and I was wondering if they, just like normal pigs, turn into werepigs on full moon, and whether they can be fed monster meat at all, preferably without taking hits.

As I near 1000 days on default I am preparing to give light out a shot. This set piece could potentially be infinite food if I were to find one and safely utilize it.

Sounds.... horrifying. In DS's world I'm a peaceful character. Trying to kill the less animals to get food and avoid monsters. Even if I won't be able to make 'necessary' things like bug catcher. That's why I afraid werepigs. If I just see one I just run away. I ain't encountered Guardian werepigs up to now. GAH! I hope that I won't *-*

Depending on how much you stretch the term, I don't think there's any crafting you can't do "peacefully". For example, hammering staked pig heads and picking up silk from monster-on-monster battles (mostly in the swamps) will get you your bug net.

If you aren't averse to hiring monsters to do your dirty work while you stand clear, though, I don't think there's anything you can't snag. At the very least, steering hounds into otherwise-peaceful monsters can get you any overworld stuff.
