Mod idea: Seth Rosen's Potato Cup

Seth showed us his real life survival skills by carving a potato cup on the Don't Starve Together twitch live stream. We need a potato cup mod!

My proposal -

Potato cups can be found in graves or dropped by hostile pigs

Fills up/activated after rain

Restores 50 health and 15 sanity

10 Uses

I don't know how to make mods so feel free to take this idea and run with it

Hella. I would make art and would just need the programmer. B)

I can do everything except making art(I'm terrible at it)...

I can mod it, just need some art and a basic concept... You can PM them to me, and I will start coding :-)

I added potatoes in Camp Cuisine, but I haven't done french fries yet - I was thinking about adding an edible/cookable potato cup as well.  Recipe ideas, anyone?  (I don't actually have to *call* it a potato cup, after all, to avoid conflicts w/this idea...)

So i've heard.

Potato+stick+Spice for the potato cup?

For the french fries, 2 potatoes, a filler that is not veggie or meat, and spice?

I can do my best, school and work tend to get a hold of me. I'll shoot concept sketches around if you want. :-))

I also have school and work, but they shouldn't get in my way ;-) I will try to code a prefabs and overall mod for that sketches.

So, the basic concept is to only add another trinket item ?

(wikipedia) the first English print recipe for French Fries in 1856

"Cut new potatoes in thin slices, put them in boiling fat, and a little salt; fry both sides of a light golden brown"

Potato + Fat + Spices +? Tomato ? (Ketchup?)

We shouldn't need to introduce extra foods just for the recipe of french fries, beyond the potato, of course.

Remember, this is a crockpot, not a deep-fryer.

Also, the ketchup can come out of nowhere, because DS logic :D

It was meant to be an optional idea if someone was feeling ambitious.

Otherwise the fourth ingredient could be practically anything... except maybe fruit.

But tomato is a fruit

Botanically yes,

but according to the US Supreme court ruling it was ruled as a vegetable based on 'common conception'

(The ruling was required because of tariffs imposed on vegetables but not fruits)

- so... yeah that's kind-of stupid. :indecisiveness:

I like my french frittes with mayonaise, so yeah...

I like mine plain honestly. :lemo:

The real question, however, is:  do I call them fries, or chips?
