vanquishbhp
Lead's put it this way, Mr. Silver, the coppers aren't impressed with you..... Alright, I'll stop. Fun Fact: back in 1994 or something, a group of researchers were put in a 'biosphere' prototype (you know, for life on other planets?) They were supposed to be in there for 2 years, barely made 2 weeks Sorry for inaccuracies, my memory is failing me.
Palpetinus
It's said that we like sweet stuff so much because of our ancestors, back then it was essential to always eat lots of food with lots of calories for energy, and sweet flavour just signals that a food has many calories. So now we love that stuff without really needing it anymore.

A team of researchers have created an edible substance that looks and tastes almost exactly like cooked chicken... without the chicken. They did it by mixing chemicals that gave the looks, taste etc. then slow-cooked it for several hours to get the texture.
