I was just thinking about some Don't Starve ideas for the console rendition that Klei Entertainment could possibly do. Don't Starve is a very innovative game but I just had a few fun ideas in my head. What I am thinking about is a new type of character, a sort of angel type of character that has a few unique perks. Such as: coming back to life (but only once) or using lightening to strike your enemies dead or maybe even doing extra damage to undead things like ghosts etc. Don't Starve characters usually have at least one or two disadvantages so in that case monsters could do extra damage against you and fire is lethal. You're probably thinking "how would I unlock this character?" Well maybe you could find a halo or something and bring it to a statue. Another idea that I have is that the angel starts off with a bow for a weapon. If I had to pick a name for this character I would simply just name it "The Heavenly". Tayburro Posted August 19, 2014 Share Posted August 19, 2014 Needs more detail, better organization of thoughts and much more work to make it something genuinely special, also it is likely that until future DLC there will be no new characters. I've always wanted a silent character with a talking angel and demon on each shoulder (With powers/items to match whichever one he listens to more depending on sanity and naughtiness.) but again that is for modders to take me up on such an endeavor. TheFuryPs4 Posted August 19, 2014 Share Posted August 19, 2014 At least he's giving some feedback to the game, give him a break he's new to the Forum, i like his ideas they may never get to be in the game but there pointing in the right direction for improvement, the game will only get better if people like him give feedback to the company, no matter how big or small an idea may seem it could with potential change the course of the game forever.
