Dragons that come and punish greedy players...

 

"I thought up an idea for worlds past day 300-500. In my main save I have stashed up a ton of gold and gems. Just like in the hobbit I think that when a player gets too greedy something should come and bite them in the butt. Tree guards have a small % chance of spawning when a tree is felled, and I think that a DRAGON should have an even smaller chance of spawning when gold or a gem is picked up, dropped or generally makes an appearance on the map, say dropped by a hound or mined from a rock. This dragon would first make an appearance by swooping over, during which a large, dragon shaped shadow would be seen, accompanied by a loud roar.

This would continue (but not very frequently) for some days, with the occasional fly over, but before too long the dragon would attack and, still flying (player can still only see a shadow) would belt the area near the player with fire breath, leaving fire trails similar to multiple dead fire hounds. After maybe three or so of these fly by attacks it would land and cause a shudder far more powerful than deerclops walking (maybe some sinkholes could cave in as a result and be gone) and reveal itself to the player, all 5000hp of itself.

It would only land for a short while however, if taking too much damage from the player (who can attack it now it has landed) it will take flight again and do the fly over attack another 3-5 times. While on the ground it would have 3 main attacks, a chomping attack where it thrusts its head forwards and bites the player, dealing huge amounts of damage, say 300 or so. Another attack would be a swipe with either its tail or a leg, this would be an AOE attack, dealing slightly less damage but still a formidable amount, say 200? And the last being a ground based breath attack, similar to the fly by. It would he hostile to all mobs in the game, but the player would be safe underground, a possible way to battle it (heading underground to heal up and get more weps). Unlike the deerclops it would not despawn off screen but would instead stay, smashing any chests or bags containing gold or gems to get them.
  
This powerful a mob would have to have some really rewarding drops, my ideas include dragons teeth which can be used to make some sort of very powerful sword, scales for some very powerful armour and possibly allot of red gems, meat (16 or so) and maybe some form of new gem, with a new and powerful staff that can be crafted to match. Furthermore, the dragon would be immune to sleep and freeze effects.  "

On the right side there is a frame when posting and editing a new topic. The checkbox under Poll is called "Manage Topic Poll." it is possible you might not have this option for you are too new to have it available, but just to let you know the next time you want  to make a poll. 

 

 

And i'd like to see the developers develop what the players want to see most in a timely but well worked upon speed.

I don't seem to see why boats are relevant to a video with the word boat in it.

I would personally love an expansion where you can build small stone bridges over small rivers, boats that you can sail by W,A,S,D while trying to avoid Sea-Tenticles and while trying to ind a new island full of exotic resources however you constantly lose sanity in a boat as who wouldn't, a huge pond biome where you fight the Frog Lord in a boat and more adventure levels (Possibily ones according to the DLC, A new cave level for Vanilla, A level where a new season takes place every 3 days for ROG and one where you sail to really sail islands to find the five items for the expansion I thought of)

The Maxwell Challenge:(Only one for world) _{A weird machine that you only can craft if you have the blue print, only found in the graves. If you built it, you will have to take the challenge, or take the challenge, no more options. Then, if you select the machine it will transport you into a new world with a SO DARK aspect. The night hands appears and then you fight with them, if you defeat the boss will return to your world and with a new  prize, if you not won, good bye.}

I've been saying this all along, but some decent, upgradable shelters. The first thing you're taught from all these survival shows is "build a shelter!". Could be quite a challenge too. (something more than a tent or the cabin mod - quite nice work by-the-way)

Walls are all we've got, though and they're just too tedious and unsatisfying to build.

ironically, after all the updates (and one add on,) we've got only TWO Shelters, the Tent and the  Siesta, lean-to. And it's not upgradable for either of them.
