TheKingofSquirrels
These two monsters are super interesting and have a lot of potential for being dangerous enemies, which initially they were, but now after all the updates they´ve kind of have been left aside and now whenever they appear in the game it´s very...Awkward. I´m not saying they should be given more health, but I don´t know, they need to be developed more I feel. Maybe MacTusk can start tracking the player from a distance or something.Any thoughts? J20hawkz
It would be pretty cool to see "The Hunting Party" going on hunts. They could actually be programmed to hunt pengulls. I love the Pig vs Merm battles and to see something similar to that would definitely be welcome. Maybe in a future DLC?
Crapplejacks
I can see that. However, Mactusk can be deadly on occasion, as if you are fully winter clothed, and you accidentally wander near him, you get a face full of dart. I agree with krampus, however. Give them a purpose in the world, other than just roam around their base until they see a payer.

The result is lots of casualties on both sides. Mactusk does have an active hunting party. Are they not aggressive toward pengulls?
BurningSprite
Make it so that MacTusk tames any winter hounds he comes across. That could make his difficulty vary. Imagine a army of Winter Hounds. GG World, GG
Delannion
Honestly, MacTusk is already pretty deadly. He himself can easily kill or at least injure you if you're not prepared. More importantly, you're fighting him during winter. That means you also have to worry about freezing to death during the fight, making the trade-off between armor and warmth a tough one. Krampus I agree isn't much of a threat, but that's because Krampus can only be spawned intentionally, so you're always ready for him. If Krampus was easy enough to spawn accidentally this wouldn't be an issue. Also, 5 Krampus are a lot more dangerous than 1.
Auth
Why are you people killing my kid?
Warpspeed10
McTusk already behaves the way you described. He will hunt the player from a distance, taunting you all the while. If you approach his party in the slightest, they will spring into action and set the hounds on you while McTusk fires blowdarts from afar. They have quite a wide patrol area, and if they find another target in their path, they will despose of it. If you live on the opposite side of the map, and only go by them to kill them, you will usually find them by their igloo, as they (like all mobs) don't activly wander around while the player is not near. Rosten
About Krampus, well, we've been fighting that battle for years buddy.
~Matt
I don't see a lot of point in buffing things. If you know how to properly throw creatures against each other in this game, nothing poses enough of a threat against you, maybe not even the giants. Flare2V
Krampus should pick up tooth traps without being hurt, or at the very least disarm them.
