Adventure Mode help

Expect to die!

Take your time but hurry up. If you get to a world that isn't too bad, stick around and make as much stuff as you can so you'll know the recipes. Keep as much as possible built, but not placed (so it stays in your crafting menu) then you can place it when you need it.

Once you get a bunch of stuff pre built, treat each world like it's gonna explode in a few days. Rush thru mobs and find the "Things" build teleportato....NEXT!!!! Aside from which ever World is your base maker, (prep for the upcoming Worlds) you should look to go on to the next world by day 15 at the latest.

Pretty much what spencer just said. There isn't really an "easy" method to beating adventure mode, it will take some time, and a lot of dying before you eventually get the hang of it. Just keep trying :)

The only exception is if you find a World named "Two Worlds." You could "slow down" here and stock up on resources to heal to full for all indicators and finish up your prototypes there (and if lucky, find a two-way wormhole not just a one way wormhole to make that even easier.) Having items like the walking cane and Tam O' Shanter are exceptionally helpful when you don't get the advanced cave-ingredients of some Shadow Manipulator magic items. Those are almost always 2 of my 4 traveling items, especially in World 5 for...oh, no sanity-draining-rushing-through-a-Hound-Mound encounter reason
