Razorflip
Don't Starve is a funny mixture that consists of two parts: the scary severe realism where your purpose is to survive and some magic and unbelieaveble creatures and constructions. Recently I have noticed that the game has become more tough to play especially with rain. I mean, the level of being wet. But how it would be nice to make the pools(puddles) which appear due to the rain some more funny. Imagine - Wilson noticed a sapling:" oohh, I need it!!!"- and he is running to it and SWING - BADAAAM - he falls of the pool being to slimy. It would be funny, trust me - just an ability to fall with a cute sound of falling and hitting the ground! It will certainly make the player smile. Or if you want the game to be some more complicated - let us make a chance of falling. I mean, 50% the characters will fall, and 50% they won't. After that there is a question that appeals to me:" Is it possible to reduce this chance?" - Sure, just let us made an option - boots. Yes, yes, I know, that this job is extremly unpleasant and difficult, but I can only suggest... The theme with boots is quite complicated so nevermind, let us think of the water problems! Battal
I think the "player smiling" bit would turn very quickly into a frown after falling on the ground a million times.

Maximum124
Tripping? Other then wasting time what would it do? If it hurts your health that's just cruel since its random and you cant control it at all. Time is also precious in this game. It just seems useless. Battal
There's a fine line between challenging and irritating. Wasting time to run around every puddle on the ground wouldn't really add anything to the game.

TheKingofSquirrels
I was thinking about this. I think slipping should cause very minimal damage, -5 point at the most, but should definitely have a strong impact on the player´s sanity and wetness. GalloViking
I'm ok with this as long as it has a reason, not just at random. Dunno, when you are too wet or something like that.
Parrotoss
Well, maybe the chance of slipping could only be presented when items are wet and the wetness meter is high. I see no problem in adding a slipping risk to the character themselves if it only applies when excessively wet--it would give people all the more cause to stay dry when being chased and whatnot.
