Zamiel
I use green ingredients, and 1/4 times I get rot. Is this a feature or a bug? If the latter, is there a mod that fixes this issue?
RailgunD
I get the same thing. I was using monster meat, regular meat, and 2 honey. It turned into rot half the time.

rezecib
I've seen this mentioned a bunch, but never had it happen to me... It's definitely a bug, though. The intended effect is that things left on a crockpot post-cooking will begin to spoil, instead of only starting when you harvest it from the crockpot. hotflungwok
I've seen this too.
Zalyn
Rot or Wet Goop? Rot. The crock pot will pop open, and it will be rot. I've noticed it happening a lot when doing honey ham recipes, now that you mention it. I think I lost a bacon and eggs once too.

Sporb
I've gotten rot while trying to cook meaty stew. Most of the ingredients were jerky, but they were all very fresh. I don't think that crock pots yielding rot is related to the freshness of the ingredients.
BipedalBear
Is the crock pot wet? I know that there is a chance of getting rot while it's wet.
Thiosk
Mighta been.I've had some meals rotted-- almost always honeyham and bacon and eggs.
Zalyn
Is the crock pot wet? I know that there is a chance of getting rot while it's wet. Is that so? That could definitely explain it. I'll go check this out!

Ragnarok
I've had this as well, mostly during the winter and spring.
lebowski2
I just noticed this as well for the first time near the end of winter. Something must be triggering it if it is a bug because I didn't see it happen once during my first few games (none of which made it through winter). 1/4 of the time seems about right. None of the crockpots were 'wet' at the time (just cold, I suppose).
the truthseeker
I've only had it on winter and spring, and including when it is not wet. The same level of durability ingredients all green and sometime it's fine, sometimes instant rot. As of a few days ago, it APPEARED to stop, but keep your eyes open to be sure.
