Too many Pengull. Makes Winter too easy.

I think the difficulty of Winter is becoming less challenging now with the implementation of Pengull. I like the design of them and their concept, but I think too many flocks of them spawn in the Winter. I think they should be rarer or a maybe a bit harder to find. 

The challenge of Winter is the scarcity of food, but the fact that Pengull nests are literally everywhere, providing abundance in eggs and morsel pieces, kinda defeats the point.

I agree with your point, I once had a pengull nest in my base and they provided me with free eggs all winter.

Though I dont think making them rarer would be a solution, I would like to see them spawn away from neutral minion buildings and or our buildings and make them have several warrior pengull. This would be the same concept as guardian pigs, guarding their resources. It would make it more a challenge to loot them or their eggs while they sleep.

But if they sleep, it´s still really easy to steal their eggs at night. But you´re right, they should definitely be more vicious in someway.

I still think though that they should be slightly harder to find. I just don´t like the fact that they spawn near the player, because whenever they jump out of the water I just feel like I´m being given a free supper.

That is why I suggested to implement warrior pengull, because warriors never sleep...

On topic: agreed with OP, though don't know how to solve. Whilst Pengul-Warrior would do the trick, we do have enough combat-orientated answers in the game--would be nice to see some unusual, creative mechanics instead.
