AtmoicZap
Anytime I try to launch Mark of the Ninja, it starts up, shows a black screen and my cursor turns to a loading symbol. Then the screen turns white, and I get the generic "Mark of the Ninja has stopped working, windows is searching for a solution..." message, I click cancel, the screen flashes black, then back to white and I get the same message again. When I hit cancel the second time it all goes away.Things I have tried:Restart computerUpdate mobo/video card driversDisable/unplug all controllersChanged default sound deviceTried launching from exe instead of steam.Changed to Win xp sp3 compatibility and ran as administratorVerified Steam CacheUninstalled/ReinstalledDisabled AntivirusI have tried all of these things multiple times in multiple orders and got nothing.System Specs:Windows 7 64 BitRadeon HD 5000 Series16GB RamAny help would be greatly appreciated! Developer Wade Posted March 11, 2014 Developer Share Posted March 11, 2014 Can you try running the game with the "-enablelog" launch option set in Properties, it should create a bunch of different log files in the "log" folder. Are you getting a "crash.txt" file with any info?
AtmoicZap
I have done that, I thought that the agreggate.log file was what you got from that, I will look for more files when I get home.
AtmoicZap
I have attached all the non-blank files in the log folder. There is also ai.log, crash.log, loading.log, lua.log, and sound.log files, but they are all blank, which seems strange to me, especially the crash.log file. Is there something I need to do besides the -enablelog to get them to fill up? Thanks again!aggregate.loggame.lognet.logrendering.log
Developer Wade Posted March 17, 2014 Developer Share Posted March 17, 2014 No, it looks like because it is crashing so early in the start-up sequence, it is not reaching the sequencing where the crash log would come into play. I'll pass along the mdmp to one of our programmers and see if he can provide more insight.
AtmoicZap
Ah, yes, that makes sense. Thanks for your help! I am fresh out of ideas and don't see anything else to try on the forums I have checked.
