i love this, but from this side we should see his monocle, not his eye (;

I'm sticking with showing his eye. Feels better to me.

 

 

EDIT: If you meant so on one side he shows his eye and on the other side he shows his monocle, that's not possible. Both sides use the same parts of the atlas/build/whatever you want to call it.

really? thats like that with any character? i didn't know that. That's fine then.

Now making William his own haunted house! Crafted with lots of cut stone, boards, beefalo wool,and a ghastly butler.

 

How it works: At dusk, the Ghastly Butler will wake up and make some ghastly moans. William can access the house 24/7, and it doesn't skip the day. No, William stays in there and, while inside, regains sanity at a steady pace and slowly heals (2-1 health every 6 seconds). His hunger will drain much faster while inside, just to make it even. While inside, the lights will turn on. So long as your hunger isn't too low, you'll be able to spend the night inside your cozy home (when he tells you he's hungry, he leaves the house. I'll look into changing this.

 

The Ghastly Butler will require a purple stone, "Different" Nightmare Fuel (created with his chemistry tab), a butler suit.

 

You will also see the Ghastly Butler appear around the house sometimes.

Out of curiosity, will we be seeing any of these new craftable items being added to the previous William? I like the look of the ones in the image, definitely :3

Nope. Unless an update breaks it, or I do want to add something new, there will be no future updates to William. Why the first William is weak and needs his robots to fight his battles (with his help), William 2 is made to fight his own battles. His rabbit companion can help him, but he's much stronger than his previous appearance. Especially during the full moon.

Finished his gold set. Looks similar to his dear Faithe's armour, huh?

The Helmet is basically a craftable shellmet, the suit has the same durability as marble, but only blocks 85% (between the Log Suits 80% and the thulucite's 90), and the "Chainsaw-rd" deals 50 (less than the tentacle spike's 51 and the ham bat's 58) damage to the direct target, and 75% of that damage to all enemies in attack range (actually, they have to be a bit closer than the direct target).

The gold armour will be enchantable. The enchanted suit will provide more protection, last longer, and will allow you to run really fast!

I made it so the enchanted suit will also emit shadowy stuff while worn. The first try had some... interesting results.

We've all heard the stories of the princesses being rescued by the White Knights - and William's no exception! But instead of a brave man in shining white armour, he has a Terror Claw in marble armour. After enchanting the Golden Helmet, you'll be able to hover your cursor over it to see the "cast spell" option (while it's equipped). When you cast the spell, it will either spawn the Terror Knight, or a hostile "fleshy blob". I haven't made the blob yet, but here's the knight. AND the three main stages of development: the first edit to get the shape, the black outlines, and then the colour. It also shows the enchanted helmet with all the runes! and the way it makes William's face go all "shadowy" with multiple eyes. Just like all his shadows.

The Terror Knight will last 1 day, decreasing William's maximum sanity by 49 while active. He can have 3 active at a time. They have 450 health, deal 30 damage, and will be stunned for a very short period of time after being hit. Stats are still being changed and will probably be very different in the future.

Hey, noticing the gold armor and helmet I'd like to ask if you could not have the prefab for either be goldarmor/goldhelmet? I use the MadMan's fighting pack and the gold armor and helmet in his pack use said prefabs, and I'd like to avoid conflict if possible. Thanks for reading!

That's exactly what I was thinking when making them, so you don't have to worry. The prefab names for the gold armour and helmet is: "armor_goldbreast" and "hat_goldhelm". Nothing to worry about. :)

I've changed the hostile Fleshy Blob enemy to a shadowy-bug, called the Horrific Incest. It's just a giant, shadowy bug, with 750 health, deals 55 damage per hit, takes 15 sanity when it hits you, and gives you back 50 (If I remember correctly) sanity when killed. It's also REALLY fast!

 

EDIT: Holy ****, I meant Insect.
