[Crash]

Platform

    [*]Linux
    [/list]Version Number

    82282

    Do you have mods installed?

    No

    Issue title

    Crash when opening map

    Steps to reproduce

    1. Start any old or new game
    2. Press TAB to open map
    3. Seg fault, core dumped

Tested only with the first character.

    Describe your issue

Plain crash regardless of the game scenario. Always reproducable.

I've prepared a tar package with the following:
    - core dump (core.%e.%p)
    - files.sha1sum (sha1sums of all my files under dontstarve installation)
    - log.txt from $HOME/.klei/DoNotStarve/log.txt
    - settings.ini from $HOME/.klei/DoNotStarve/settings.ini
    - Xorg.0.log from /var/log

Could you please make this a private thread or contact me directly via email so that I can share a link to this tar package? Cannot attach the package it as the core dump file is over 600MB uncompressed, 87MB as bz2, compressing it into zip file does not help much, also I don't want my core dump file public.

    $ uname -a
    Linux zzstation 3.2.0-49-generic #75-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jun 18 17:39:32 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

OS is kubuntu 12.04 with all the latest updates.

Removed the "stock" mods directory just to be sure; no change.

This issue shouldn't affect any Windows users, and has actually been fixed now for Linux.

Can you please post the contents of your log.txt file in your "documentskleidonotstarve" folder when it crashes?

Thanks!
