Easter Egg In January 29th Update Video

So I have heard a little about an "easter egg" in the latest update video. I'm not sure how many people know about this, so I wanted to post it here.

For a split second in the video, at 1 minute and 16 seconds, a QR code flashes on the screen. It actually happens multiple times in the video, 3 I think, but this was the biggest one.



Pretty interesting, huh? Well, if you scan this QR code, it brings you to a website. Specifically: http://www.dontstarvegame.com/scienc...ing/shhhh.html

This page shows a somewhat creepy picture of Maxwell (I'm assuming) and words flash by the picture every once in a while. These words say:
"Your eyes deceived you.
I'm afraid they've lied.
What matters most,
is on the inside."

If you right click on Maxwell and use whatever the function is in your browser to "Save as", for Google Chrome it is "Save Image As"

Once you save this image, it is in the format of a PNG file. It is named "forbidden_ knowledge" and it looks just like a regular image, right? Wrong. If you have WinRar installed on your computer then go ahead and change the file extension to ".rar". Then open that up, and you'll find an image inside that named "Insanity.png" and opening it will present you with this image:



What could this mean? More monsters? Does Wilson have the power to sleep now without a straw roll? Or are the Dev's just messing with us?

Although as you heard, they/we/others have already discovered it, I must say GREAT work figuring it out! We need more people like you and I'd like to express my gratitude towards you, because you did a GREAT work, even if you weren't the first this time. I like that more fellow "lurkers" ( That's our name now, alright? ) are joining us every update.

There is always next time! So keep up that damn good work.

Oh......you bested me sir! Darn you! *Shakes fist*. Still he compiled the information into something readable, which the other topic DOES NOT ( unless they edited it a lot... ). So he is still doing a good job!
