  1. I stay firm on my position do not try to enclose Electrolyzers in a closed room if you dont know how the game works, it will lead to disaster or annihilation of your colony! although I am not sure if that it is the point of this thread! ( if its not pls forgive me).

From what I can tell he is using some of the famous you-tubers bubbler system... an electolizser is enough to sustain 8 dupes in a open environment, dont (if not pro) try to enclose it in a tight space or try to contain the gases, you will just make it harder on yourself if you dont totally understand (not how physics work but) how the game works, Use one electrolizer for 8 dupes and set one gas pump and filter (top of base) leading the hydrogen to your generator, It will save you some headaches and make your colony more the viable....

SO after hours of pre-alpha and hours of alpha content I can say I am a bit disappointed.... thought we would have more map types, and dangers, more mobs, some awesome gateways that lead to new and undiscovered areas, this focus on farming is great but it does not fill the enormous gap that is lacking in gameplay, yes making a cooling system to solidify co2 is fine and dandy but it lacks a lot (in my point of view) in gameplay, we need new regions... maby add a gatway that would (after many troubles) lead us to another asteroid that is harder or easyer... depending on point of view, maby have difrent physic and rules (that wouldn't be to surprising).......... micromanaging a colony is all good fun but ONI neads something more, there neads to be some goal and achievement.... I dont mean building a rocket to escape the asteroid coz I swear to god if you do that I quit We need like a portal or two, leading us to more challenging and difficult world's or some expansion of the geezer and void, making them essential to all colony, What I would like to see is after you have researched all the utility junk, you will then research portals and traveling machines that would help you reach those unheard off regions, those regions would be far different from ours and maby have oxygen float downwards and co2 upwards, how about a world made out of lava were we would need to cool our base b4 making it a sustainable colony, we whould have a portal leading us to this world but no real concrete way of making our move viable, on the other side we would have to leave b4 our natural colony gets frozen up by the seasonal frost outburst.... Klei, I love you games, dont take this personal, I just wished there was more to do in ONI then micromanaging oxygen and .....
  5. if you have a high air pressure it means you are making more air then you can consume, consider dropping your production or hire more dupes......

  7. Nothing is wrong with my computer (as far as I know) and this build was working a few hours ago, something has changed and I alerting the dev's about it, this has no consequences for me as the normal build is working perfectly.....

After being an idiot and trying to load the game twice on the archive branch, I couldn't start a new game (the screen would freeze after the 3 dupes spawned) and twice had I have to alt tab out of the game..... even worse after alt ctrl del command the computer went into a blue screen with a http...win...end.code warning, is it my computer or something is rly up with that build? this (bluescreen happend twice) after this happend I ofc tried the (opt out of all beta programs) branch and ONI is working perfectly. So now I can play normally and there seems to be no problem with the normal branch but that bluesceen rly scarred me.....
  9. It was probably wrong of me to say that but to explain myself, I dont find Devlopous very sympathetical but I think the poll has awnserd all of his questions, I dont think bashing him to oblivion would help in anyway.

  11. In theory we are already using the experimental version. I am always on the Beta branch in steam ONI options witch would be "thermal-upgrade-preview".
  12. Guys give the guy a break, Developous made a thread and although he seems a bit confused to me he has never insulted anyone, nor do I have the feeling he neads to be moderated, the mods have been tagged enough in this thread and I am sure they will take action if they feel it is necessary.

Hi all, so here are a few things I think should be improved. 1: Allow us to disable or turn the sound off the Printing Pod, its kinda loud and sometimes I dont want to reset it and would prefer to keep a good dupe under my sleeve for the time I will need him/her. 2: In late game moving the map with the aswd buttons is very laggy, on the contrary using the right mouse button to drag the map feels very fluid and comfortable (I am sure this can be improved on) 3: Most of the time when you build ladders or pipes the game will reset or choose by default obsidian (or the first material on the list) witch makes me have to cancel all my planing to re-select a material I actually have in storage, my thought is that sandstone should always be a default and if its not available then the game should switch to an other material. 4: Path finding for dupes, as I am more experienced with the game now the only time I will lose a dupe Is bc he will get stuck in a wall or even worse wall himself up, I am no dev or coder so I dont know what could be done, one thing that came to my mind is that most of the time when that happens the dupe is standing on the wrong side of what he is trying to build, maby this could be improved by setting the printing pod as a reference point so the dupes would always try to build things when they stand on the side closer to that point, again I have no clue it my be a stupid idea. 5: Please give us a history or general setting for all storage containers, having to re-select just a few materials on all storage containers is very time consuming and somewhat annoying. Also being able to choose how much of what I want in that particular storage would help a lot. 6: Being able to move the screen just a bit more at the edges would be a good thing, add a thinker layer of Neutronium at the edges of the map would work, so that when my dupes work at that edges I can still keep them in the middle of my screen. I am sure I have much more of this but cant think of them atm, I will update the post or make a new one if necessary. Cheers and tnx for this great game
  14. I have been warning ppl about using obsolete machines in an high pressured oxygen environment....... More seriously it must be some kind of bug, normally the tepidizer is used immersed in water no?
  15. I think everyone should stay cool but overall mixing the word stupid with cogorta and [J.C.] is a bad idea on the internet......
