  1. Imagine a peach tree, but the peaches are blue and they glow blue. You feel a sense of calm while in the soft glow. You look around and see that all of the other plants are wilted.You decide to take a fruit. It’s glow drastically drops as you pluck it. You take a bite. Purple juice runs down your chin. It's sweet. The insides of the peach are purple and there is a big pit inside. You want more of this fruit. You pluck 1 more. You eat all of it, except the pit of course. You feel relaxed and sort of dazed. You pass out. You wake feeling hungry and you really need th use the bathroom. Beyond that, you have not a care in the world. This is my idea for a new plant in the game. It is a tree. I think about 8m high and 2m wide (at the base, the leaves are 4m wide). It produces fruit and light. This light stifles other crops and reduces stress. Consuming the fruit gives about 900kCal. If a Duplicate consumes more than 1200kCal of this within a single cycle, they suffer a narcoleptic style sleep that lasts ⅙ of a cycle. They wake up with no stress, a full bladder, and are almost starving. This food would provide stress relieve to duplicants, however it has terrible consequences when over eaten. I have drawn up some stuff and I will post it later. Feel free to let me know how this blue sleep peach tree sounds.
  2. I think that the devs should look at Prison Architect, it has a great planning mode and is of a similar game type. It makes ghost tiles as you plan, the tiles are removed once you build over them.
  3. I had an idea about plant like things a while ago, never made a post. This is the doodle I based it off of.
  4. I had an old idea for tube networks, I never did post this idea however. I would like to see a pneumatic tube system implemented into the game. They would be their own research tree and would function like this: (RL# is the level of research) Storage Compactor- has an input at the top and an output at the bottom Terminal- RL1 a 1×2 (x×y), building made out of metal. It has a port at the top and can hold 500kg. One way tube- RL1 a type of pipe that carries items in one direction. All connected tubes must either be sending (to SC) or receiving (to terminal). Two way tube- RL2 a type of pipe that has two sides, one for sending and one for receiving. Flow of items is not interrupted. Uses: placed at edges of base so dupes do not have to run back to the middle to get items. Also can be placed in “mines” to send lots of stuff at once.
  5. Just imagine, under Load game it says "Sandbox." You click it and some loading happens. It then opens up an 150m by 150m vacuum. You can place any type of block, sediment, liquid, gas, pipe, wire, building, and entities (dupes, resources). Sandbox mode would be locked, you must complete at least one +15 cycle colony, just so you know how the game works. I would like this as I would use it to plan out rooms and interactions for later down the line. Rooms like battery storage that doubles as a water purifier. Different gas behaviors in oxygen production rooms. Disease effects on dupes. Stability of food sources. Just stuff I question.
  6. Normally abisalite is really cold, I have not tried using it to cool stuff however. Eventually I would love to see pockets of super cooled rock, or ice, around it. Plants should also freeze under 0°C
  7. Again, a time management option for at least eating, bathroom, and shower would be nice.
  8. Maybe we could make a roomba like robot. An auto sweep/mop within a selected area. Maybe have a charging station that needs 60W and it lasts for a cycle. Resources could be about 400 copper?
