  1. (abandoned) Always On Status

This mod has been abandoned for a long time but rezecib made an up-to-date version of it, combined with another mod.

Displays health, hunger and sanity values at all times. It's also possible to monitor naughtiness (Krampus) and temperature. There's also a beaver meter for Woodie.
    RoG and SW compatible.

Mechanics   Temperature and naughtiness are hidden automatically when inside the caves since it's always at 20°c and none of the creatures increase your naughtiness. These mechanics exist in the game and weren't created by me. This mod just monitors them.
      Naughtiness :
The naughtiness threshold for spawning Krampus is set to a random number between 30 and 50 as soon as you kill an innocent creature. Killing certain creatures increases your naughtiness. Once the cap reached, naughtiness is reset to zero and the new threshold is automatically set to a random number between 30 and 50. And Krampus spawns of course. There's a chance to spawn 2 or 3 Krampii after day 50 and 3 or 4 Krampii after day 100.
      Temperature :
Thresholds and limits are not the same whether you are playing RoG or vanilla DS. RoG introduced overheating, which occurs at 70°C (154°F). That's second degree burn territory. So I halved the displayed temperature (temp°C/2 then converted to °F) so that it feels more natural in RoG. See below for details.
    * Vanilla game : The temperature ranges from -20°C (-4°F) to 40°C (104°F). If it goes under 5°C (41°F) you'll start shivering and under 0°C (32°F) losing health.
    * RoG & SW : The temperature ranges from -10°C (14°F) to 45°C (113°F). Over 35°C (95°F), you'll overheat. If it goes under 3°C (38°F) you'll start shivering and under 0°C (32°F) losing health. So careful !

Compatibilities - Not compatible with RPG HUD Neat unless you deactivate the custom badges (for RPG HUD Neat, not Always on Status).

How to install this mod   It's better to disable the Steam Cloud feature for the game. Always backup your savegames, profile and saveindex before installing a new mod or you'll be very sour if something goes wrong. They are usually located in "..\Steam\userdata\<your steam ID>\219740\remote" or "My documents\Klei\DoNotStarve\save". Backup all the files found in those folders.     Extract the folder located in the archive to "...\Steam\steamapps\common\dont_starve\mods" or the equivalent if you use the standalone version. Once in game, head to the mods tab and activate the mod (the Neat version requires a restart) then configure it.

  2. (abandoned) RPG HUD

These 2 mods let you add backpack and amulet slots, increase inventory, backpacks and containers size.   The Neat version can display custom bar badges (health, hunger, sanity), naughtiness meter and thermometer above the inventory. It has custom UI art, too.     RoG and SW compatible.     Customization options   What both mods have in common : - Backpack slot : Yes/No - Amulet slot : Yes/No - Inventory size : Default version : 15, 20, 25, 55 / Neat version : 15, 25, 45 - Piggyback speed penalty : Yes/No - Backpacks size : Default/Large (backpack : 10 - piggyback : 14 - Krampus sack : 20) - Storable backpacks : Yes/No - Containers size (chest and icebox, not chester) : Default/Large (16) - Colored slots (chest, chester, icebox, crock pot) and custom equippable slots backgrounds. - Corner shortcuts (pause, map, rotate) : Show/Hide - Further zoom out without the game pushing it back to default.     What's only in the Neat version : - Custom badges : Yes/No - Naughtiness meter : On/Off - Thermometer : On/Off - Celsius/Fahrenheit - Wetness value : Hover/Always show - Clock text : Hover/Always show (for keyboard/mouse only)     Compatibilities - High chance of incompatibility with mods that modify backpacks, inventory slots, equipment slots or chests. - Neat version : Not compatible with mods that change badges (health/sanity/hunger) unless you don't use RPG HUD's cutom badges. - Compatible with Always on Status but custom badges are turned off automatically to avoid crashes. - If you encounter crashes, make sure your game is up to date first then try runnig this mod alone. If it works alone and crashes with another mod, it means they are not compatible. You can let me and the other mod's author know about it.     Playing with a controller   When using a controller, the backpack content will be displayed in a single line underneath the inventory like in the vanilla game. However, since you can have very large backpacks, and in order to keep the UI nice and clean, the backpack line will never exceed the inventory/equipment line. Keep that in mind when customizing the options.     Example : 15 slot inventory, no amulet/backpack slot : the line is composed of 15+3 = 18 slots. So a larger Krampus's sack (20 slots instead of 14) would be sized down to 18 slots aswell.     Minor issue : If you disable your controller while in game, the very last (2-5) slots of your backpack may be inaccessible (Krampus sack + bigger backpacks + Neat 25 or Default 15). Just reload your save to fix that. Quickest Q&A ever   Q : Will you port this mod to DS Together ?
A : No. I won't be making any more mods. But if someone wanted to port my DS mods to DS Together, that's fine with me.
      Q : How can I help you ?
A : You can give me feedback on glitches and crashes down below. If you are interested in testing RPG HUD before official releases, I created a steam group just for that. I'll put the newest files there and I would appreciate feedback. Here's the link to the group : Kiopho's Beta Testing.
Thanks to everyone for your feedback which helps improve the mods tremendously.   If you like the mod, show it some love and rate it.   If you have any issues or suggestions, leave a comment down below.

  4. (abandoned) Tweaks Pack

    Customize your experience.
[WARNING] If you decrease the food spoiling rate (increasing food durability), the food in existing saves will spoil a bit. Any food collected afterwards will be fine.
      RoG and SW compatible.

    Features - Piggyback speed penalty : On/Off
    - Increasing items stacks. The non-stackable stay unchanged.
    - Healing multiplier : More/Less

    - Food staling : On/Off (food still spoils, but no stale state)
    - Tree chopping : Faster/Slower
    - Mining : Faster/Slower
    - Tools durability : More/Less
    - Survival tools durability : More/Less

  5. (abandoned) Wide FOV

    Expands the Field of View.
The default vanilla FOV is 35. The more you'll increase that value, the more PC resources will be needed. Keep that in mind if you're using a low-end machine.
In game configuration from 35 to 45.

    Compatibilities   Not compatible with MapRevealRadius.

    ==== HISTORY
First we thank those who tried to do this before; in FourTwenty mod and Evening Flower, from which we grabbed parts of program, but in the end
it's was something else that we had created.
We didn't know lua when we started over, and we have learned alot of it with pleasure as for more knowing it's national roots, where we live.
Was very fustrating for us that klei had absolutely no documentaion for the API, and the 'makemods' text into game folder is simple a joke; "Download a mod and figure out" -- we only laughed, then worried, because we would have to learn the hard way. Reading a lot of program from others mod and game scripts, and WHITOUT INTERNET we started figuring out some things, yes we did it entirely without web, as it was made off home.
Recently I've found this site dontstarveapi.com, and it would be good to help there maybe, it's a unofficial API doc.
We build this in the period of a month, rewrote the program about six times, redraw, repaint, reanimation, corrections and color scales where redone alot.
There where about 5 versions of the bush. xD
We are very old hardcore players and tryed to balance everything well so this mode don't turn out as an overpower cheating thing like most mods do and instead just use game mechanics to be an extra asset to the game, for sake.
We have been playing this game since it's beta stage, about seven or eight years so far, an state of art. And now we proud to present you our mod.

==== LATE HISTORY (post DST launch)
A lot of good feedback was received, our mod ended to be a huge success with many likes
and stars, a mountain of stoners use it. But many many requested a single-player version,
one to work with base-game only, original Don't Starve, Reign of Giants and Shipwrecked.
At this production time we couldn't put much effort to do so in lack of time for this project,
we're catch by others things, and if not only by that we realized how hard it would be to port
ir from DST to DS, we tought initially that would be peace of a cake (blame Klei for that --
why the devided the game in the first place, DST should be an multiplayer option within DS --
money, always money), ended to be a nightmare and so we had to cut one thing or two and devide in
two ports; one for those who got DS only and one for those who got DS/RoG/SW or DS/RoG or DS/SW.
Success, after many months we managed to do it! (Many thanks for Bush Doctor, who did most of the
porting job, as I were very compromised with other things).
We may had promised to present the 'Ganja Foods' set and the 'Weeder' character, believe or not it's
actually almost done, both of them, but they might not hit road for good... maybe

    ==== USED TOOLS
Free software always on mind, live free or die!
Very frustating for the artist who is FOSS compilant to not have a way
to compile the art to those binary 'weird things', had to handle it
    to the rwindows every time.
The mod tools is terrible and useless!
    Programs:
    · GIMP
    · VIM
    · Don't Starve Mod Tools (only for the compiler on Windows)
    · Spriter R10 Free
    · Notepad++
    · ktools

    OS:
    · GNU/Linux
    · Windows (if it is to be considered an system what so ever *lies*)

    ==== KNOWN ISSUES
We have corrected all bugs found so far, please report if you get one.
-Ganja bushes won't save their timers in it's stages on world reload

    ==== TODO
-Possibly rearrange the ganjabush prefabs into a single one again.
-Possibly hide the percentage on tuskpipe.
-Add effects on the screen when high, or even turns the player slow a litte.
    -Add a gnome easter egg
-Create the Weeder character, embased on a friend of ours.
** If we can, one they we will realease the 'Reign of Ganja' DLC, hahaha
with: a new giant, a new character or more, more ganja, mobs, bad trip on casual mushroom eat... gnomes.

  13. [DST] Better Console

This mod improves upon the Lua console in Don't Starve Together.  It was started as a collaboration between this author and @squeek.
    Major Features
Extended and configurable command history. Each history line is editable (that is, scrolling past a previous line will save any modifications to it), and the command history is preserved saved between game sessions. Console log is scrollable Console keeps focus when you'd expect it to Console doesn't close after each line entered Added basic CTRL+A select all support (hitting backspace after CTRL+A will delete all the text) Added support for multi-line inputs (useful for e.g. function definitions and for loops) Many general useability improvements, bugs that have been fixed, and small but useful tweaks Better, more informative and less cluttered error handling Minor features
    Technical features
    Dedicated server support
This mod has essentially two elements: extending the console UI and extending the processing and execution of Lua code. The former makes sense only in a client, and requires only the client to cooperate, and this is why this is a client mod. However, it may still be enabled in servers, including dedicated servers (though force enabling from modsettings.lua may be required). If that is done, the extensions to the execution of Lua code (including syntax extensions and all that was discussed in the "Technical features" section) will be applied to the server, both for code transmitted to it via a remote console by an admin user and for code read by a dedicated server from its terminal input.

  14. [DST] Buried Treasure

Tired of other players taking all your things? This mod allows players to build hidden stashes for their items!
Build a Hidden Stash, place the items you want to hide inside, then bury it with a shovel. After a few seconds the Hidden Stash will become completely invisible (it also does not appear on the minimap). So take care to remember where you buried your stuff! Use a shovel to dig up the stash. You can dig it up by standing close by, equipping the shovel and pressing the action key. Alternatively, hold the shovel with the mouse cursor and move the cursor over where the stash should be, and the stash will be highlighted with the option to dig it up.
If this mod results in a crash, please let me know in the comments what you were doing at the time of the crash and what the error message was. Thank you!
The Hidden Stash can be built from the Structures tab of your crafting menu. It requires an Alchemy Lab to prototype. The recipe is: 1 Shovel, 3 Boards, 2 Cut Stone.
Note that this mod only works with DST!

  15. [DST] ForceLAN

This mod forces Don't Starve Together to run in offline mode. When clicking on the Play button on the mainscreen, no popup is shown and the game goes right into the main menu under offline mode, that is, only being able to see, join and host LAN servers.
The is primarily meant as a tool for other modders, wishing to reduce iteration times when mod testing.

    ==== USED TOOLS
Free software always on mind, live free or die!
Very frustating for the artist who is FOSS compilant to not have a way
to compile the art to those binary 'weird things', had to handle it
    to the rwindows every time.
**The mod tools is terrible and useless!
    Programs:
    · GIMP
    · VIM
    · Don't Starve Mod Tools (only for the compiler on Windows)
    · Spriter R10 Free
    · Notepad++
    · ktools

    OS:
    · GNU/Linux
    · Windows (if it is to be considered an system what so ever *lies*)

    ==== KNOWN ISSUES
We have corrected all bugs found so far, please report if you get one.
-Ganja bushes won't save their timers in it's stages on world reload

    ==== TODO

-Possibly hide the percentage on tuskpipe.
-Add effects on the screen when high, or even turns the player slow a little.
    -Add a gnome easter egg
-Create the Weeder character, embased on a friend of ours.
** If we can, one they we will realease the 'Reign of Ganja' DLC, hahaha
with: a new giant, a new character or more, more ganja, mobs, bad trip on casual mushroom eat... gnomes.

  17. [DST] Gesture Wheel

Gesture wheel makes emotes a little easier by providing a custom interface for using them. Also available on the Steam Workshop.
By default, the hotkey is set to G (but you can configure it in the mod config options). Holding G will bring up the gesture wheel, then moving your mouse in a particular direction will select a gesture. When you release G, your character will do the gesture.
On controllers, pressing in the left stick activates the wheel, and selection is done with the left stick.
I included several options that you might want to change:
Toggle button: This defaults to G, but you can set it to any letter key. Hopefully when mods get proper controls options, this will be nicer to work with Wheel size: Sets how big the wheel is; defaults to 1, but can be set from 0.1 to 2. Center wheel: this determines whether the wheel comes up around your mouse or the center of the screen. Restore cursor position: "Relative", the default setting, moves it back where it was before, adding the extra movement you did for the gesture. "Absolute" sets it back where it was before without adding the extra movement, "Center" only moves the mouse to the center of the wheel when it's brought up, and "Off" doesn't move the mouse at all. If Center Wheel is disabled, only "Absolute" does anything. Show picture or text: You can have it show just the picture, just the text, or both. Controller stick: You can set it to use the left or the right stick to open the wheel. Limit to 8: Off (the default) uses all the emotes, but the wheel is getting pretty crowded (current at 12 emotes), so On limits the wheel to 8 emotes, which are chosen with the remaining options (Right Emote, Down-Left Emote, and so on).

  18. [DST] Hounds-Tooth Spear

A sharper spear for all your spear needs!
    (On Steam Workshop : https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1686956723 )
Crafting it costs 2 Hound's Teeth, 1 Rope, and 2 Twigs. (This is configurable in the config options)

It deals 45 damage and has 150 uses.

    Comparison:
The Spear does 34 (150 uses)
The Tentacle Spike does 51 (100 uses)
The Dark Sword does 68 (100 uses)

It's got the same durability as the Spear, AKA 50% more durability than the Tentacle Spike/Dark Sword.

Just in case you're low on Nightmare Fuel for Dark Swords.

Spear base and ropes belong to Klei and their Spear texture.
Teeth texture used as the blades were made by me with reference to Klei's Hound's Tooth item texture for color.

Has "Throwing Spear" mod support, even though the creator on the workshop says it's outdated and may be buggy. It still works.

  21. [DST] QuestsAPI (Beta)

    Thread:
    http://forums.kleientertainment.com/topic/77146-release-quest-mod

    The API Mod:
Every QuestMod needs the API mod to work.
I developed the API mod, to allow every modder to create custom quests/rewards/shopitems (so I don't have all the work creating quests :D).
The best way to start if you want to create content, is to look at my questsmods and how I did it. There is also explanation in the modmains.
    Basic mechanics:
Go near to the pigking and he will tell you what task he has for you. Go up and down to hear more about the quest.
There are 5 difficulties (1 to 5, esay to hard). The text of diff 1 quest is dark green. 2 is green. 3 is organge. 4 is red and 5 is dark red.
Do what the pigking wants and visit him again to get your reward.
    Skipping:
If you don't want to do the quest or it is impossible, you can do the emotion "annoyed" three times near the pigking. This will skipp the quest.
    Next Quest (default 1 day):
In modsettings you can choose, how much time should pass, before the pigking is offering you another quest after solving/skipping previous quest (half time when skipping quest).
    Loop Quests (default enabled):
The questlist of pigking contains a finite number of quests. After every quest was active, the pigking will offer no more quests. But if you enabled the modsetting "LoopQuests", the questlist is again filled with all quests and you can do them again for reward.
    Number of Quests:
For some quests, like "Emote" and "Hunt", you can choose in modsettings of questmod how often you want those quests be added to the questlist.
All other quests are only added once. So choose the number of emote/hunt quests according to how often you want to get those quests relative to other specific quests.
    Shop Mode (default enabled):
In the modsettings you can choose if you want to enable "Shopmode". If enabled, you will get coins as reward for doing quests.
The shopkeeper always spawns near the portal and you can buy some basic items from him. In modsettings you can enable chance to find coins when looting something.
If you disable Shopmode, you will get random items instead directly from the pigking as reward.
    Blueprint Mode (default disabled):
You can enable it in modsettings. This is a mode where you can't build any researchlab. Instead you have to find blueprints to be able to craft stuff. You will get blueprints and few coins as quest reward, but can also enable in modsettings a chance to find blueprints when slowpicking/working. Every found blueprint is also added to the shopkeeper, so every player can buy any found blueprint for 1 coin at the shopkeeper.
I think this mode as potential, but at the moment I don't think it will be very famous. Maybe you have ideas to improve this mode?
    Adding/Removing Quest/Questmods after game start:
It is no problem to add/disable a questmod to an already running game. The questlist of the pigking is updated accordingly.

    Only surface:
For now only surface is supported. Quest completed in caves do not count, since communication between caves and surface is not eays.

  22. [DST] QuestsHunt (Beta)

    Thread:
    http://forums.kleientertainment.com/topic/77146-release-quest-mod

    Required QuestsAPI Mod!
    http://forums.kleientertainment.com/files/file/1702-dst-questsapi-beta/

    Hunt Quests Mod:
This mod adds hunting quests for nearly every mob that exists on the surface to pigking.
Eg. "Kill 5 hounds". The mobs do not spawn, you have to find regular ones to kill them.
The difficutly from those quests gets higher the longer the average player survived and the quests fit to current season (eg. walrus only in winter).

  24. [DST] Snowballs

    Steam Workshop: >>Snowballs<<
    Throwable snowballs!
This was supposed to be only a part of a RoG mod I'm making, but I decided that it wouldn't hurt to make it a DST mod.
You can craft 40 Snowballs with 1 Rocks in the Fight Tab.
Currently, you may only throw snowballs at other players if PvP is enabled. There MIGHT be a workaround for this, but I'm currently too lazy.
Both the host and the clients must have this mod installed in order for it to work.
Original snowball sprites were made by Klei Entertainment, I just redrew them into HD sprites. I also borrowed some code from the Throwable Rocks mod.

  25. [DST] Status Announcements

Status Announcements is a mod that lets you alt+click various parts of the HUD to announce in chat things related to them. Controllers can announce stuff too, and the buttons for announcing show up on the HUD elements you would alt+click when in Inventory or Crafting mode. You can also find this mod on the Steam Workshop.
    Things you can announce:
Current hunger/health/sanity/wetness/log/temperature status. Alt+clicking your health badge will announce "I'm in perfect health!" if your health is full, or "I'm mortally wounded!" if it's very low. Sanity and hunger have different announcements specific to them ("AAAH! Stay back, beasts of darkness!"). Announcing temperature requires Combined Status. Craftable items in the craft tabs. If you know how to build it and you have the supplies, it will announce that you'll make one. If you don't know how to build it, it will ask if someone can make you one (e.g. you have a Wickerbottom and no science machine yet, and you want her to make you a backpack). If you know how to make one, but don't have the supplies for it, it will say "We need more [craftable]s". You can also announce skins for items you have. Ingredients for crafted items. Let's say night is falling and you have two twigs and one grass. Alt+clicking the grass in the torch recipe will announce "I need 1 more cut grass for a torch.". Items in your inventory and backpack. Since alt+click already does something for these, you'll have to hold down shift as well. This will announce that you have the item, and how many: "I have 10 dragonpies." Items in chests or other containers. This works the same way as inventory ones, but will announce something like "We have 8 dragonpies here in this icebox". By default, these are all whispered-- only displayed over your head-- but holding control in addition to the other modifiers will enter it into global chat. For controllers, hold Menu Misc 3, which by default is left-stick-click.
Character mods can add their own quotes if they want. You don't need to worry about mod load order, just add the quotes to GLOBAL.STRINGS._STATUS_ANNOUNCEMENTS. See announcestrings.lua in the files for this mod on the format of the announcement strings. Make sure that you check if the table exists, and if not, make an empty one before adding your strings.
Thanks to everyone who helped me writing lines for this mod:
