    NOTE: the switch between sanity and insanity it's a bit slower than the first version, that's because I changed the way the sanity is checked.

    DESCRIPTION:
    Elinor has a Mental Disease, her sanity always goes down.
    She have two personalities: sane and insane.
    When SANE:
    - Animals are not scared by her;
    - She can kiss animals: each kiss result in a bit of sanity or an item drop;
    - She restore more hunger from vegetables;
    - Can build: Heart Shaped Gem, Heart Amulet, Love Staff, Bird Gun, Bouquet, Clothes (pink, silver, gold, wedding).
    When INSANE:
    - Animals are scared;
    - Cannot kiss animals;
    - She deals a bit more damage;
    - She's a bit slower;
    - She have more hallucinations;
    - She is chased by ghosts;
    - Can build: Tragical Mistery Tool, Pain Tripper, Slaugh Me Do, Here Comes The Gun, Ob La Di Ob La BURN, Revolution 8, Tomorrow Never Comes.
    ITEM DESCRIPTION:
    SANE ITEMS:
    Clothes: slows down the sanity loss.
    Heart Shaped Gem: Ingredient.
    Love Staff: stops enemies and occasionally make them drop an item;
    Heart Amulet: slows down hunger and influence kisses;
    Bouquet: boomerang weapon, if used against bees, it stops them and spawn a flower;
    Bird Gun: turns enemies into birds.
    INSANE ITEMS:
    Tragical Mistery Tool: corrupted research machine.
    Slaugh Me Do: A Chainsaw. Does heavy damage and can cut trees with only one hit;
    Here Comes The Gun: shotgun. Deals a big damage if the target is near. Need to reload after every attack (you can do it quick by unequip and equip again)
    Ob La Di Ob La BURN: Sniper, ignite the target when killed.
    Revolution 8: poisoned cake. Give it to a pig or a rabbit and see what happens.
    Tomorrow Never Comes: a blue candle that lights a wide area. Attract threats and can absorb the health of them.
    OTHER ITEMS:
    Medicine and Strong Medicine: Stops the sanity loss for a time;
    Wedding Memories: Only one suggestion: use it FAR from your CAMP!

    I still can't believe that I finally finished my first mod ever! In just few days, after researching and studding the game's files, I managed to learn enough of the basics to be able to achieve most of the things I needed for my mod. And for the other ones, I tried giving all of the credits of the mods that I found helpful in the script of my mod. (I was too shy to ever ask for help, so it was a long few hours/days of headache and studding of the game files, to try and understand how things work to be able to alter them in my mod  X___X;  ) 
    My project was quite ambitious as for someone that literally knew one big 0 about how to code this game, but I never gave up on it. I have worked with complicated coding before on advanced custom stories for Amnesia the dark descent, so I thought  "Pfft. Don't starve? How hard can it be? It's probably gonna be a breeze!" ...umm... Yea... Nope. XD That actually was a lot harder that I expected. But then again... Most things are hard before they become easy XD
    So 4 months and about 300 hours of testing later, this mod was born! XD 
    The artwork and characters are made by me. And of course... (I don't think I need to mention it but I will anyways) Feel free to use the coding I made for my mod if you'll find it helpful, or even change it to use it in your own mod if you wish.
    However, please DO NOT reuse any of the art that I made for this.

    About the mod

    The mod contains 3 different characters. (Wool, Weem, and Waan)
    Each character has different perks, custom speech, and special items.
    All of the characters are taller than the normal Don't starve characters and have different analogies/anatomy.
    They all also have their own custom character selection frame.
    (You can check for them in the description below or in the pictures attached to this mod.)
    Also:
    Keep in mind that this mod resizes the headwear of the characters. So if you'll be playing with a normal Don't starve Character while having this mod on, then the headwear will look small on them.

    WARNING!
    Do not use this mod along with any other mods which transfer anything from SW to DS/RoG.
    It might crash your game or kill your character. (If you're playing with Wool, Weem or Waan.)
    Also:
    Please do not attempt on making this mod compatible with SW, Hamlet or DST on your own.

    Wool
    Wool is a peaceful, sweet, deer-like creature which loves nature and gets heartbroken when he sees plants suffering or getting hurt. He sees the life of plants on an equal level as the life of any other living creature, making him sad that he needs to hurt them in order to survive.

    Wool isn't the easiest character to play as. He loses sanity pretty quickly while gathering resources, and he gets hungry fast. Wool also has a very useful fried, a wisp. She can glow in the dark, heal his HP and recover his sanity. The wisp wakes up from a pearl which is Wool's special item that he starts with. The pearl can also be upgraded into a blue pearl, fire pearl, silver pearl, or golden pearl. Each pearl wakes a different wisp with different helpful perks.

    Stats
    HP -  200  | Sanity - 120  | Hunger - 90
    Neutral perks
    - He is not scary to "prey", so animals like rabbits and gobblers won't run away from him.

    Pros
    - He loses no sanity during nigh.
    -  Standing near dark flowers, wearing the fashion melon, and digging up graves does not decrease his sanity.
    - He can regain sanity by standing near trees, rabbits, beefalos, flowers, and by planting trees.
    - He has increases defense.
    - Starts with the recipe for healing salve unlocked.
    - He will spawn a butterfly from time to time. (That's just to make sure that he will always have some way to restore sanity while the Wisp is resting)
    - He can pick up the spiky bush without getting hurt.
    - He gets less hungry from eating flower petals. (+3) (dark petals give him no penalty)
    - Beefalos see him as one of their own and will not attack him even during mating season. They will also dash to protect Wool upon witnessing him being attacked.
    (They will still attack if attacked)
    - He can warm himself up by standing near beefalos.
    - He can see beefalos on the map.
    - His fur keeps him warmer during winter. He also takes less damage while freezing.
    - His Wisp can heal his sanity and health, and she glows in the dark.
    - He won't be attacked by killer bees if he won't bother them. (Killer bee hives are still a danger though)

    Cons
    - He loses sanity while chopping down trees, picking flowers, grass, or any other plant. (except cactus)
    - Loses sanity while standing near tree stumps, burned trees, drying racks, and while wearing moggles, garland, or holding grass umbrella, or ham bat.
    - Loses A LOT of sanity from burning plants and trees, and from heads on a pole.
    - Loses large amount of sanity from eating mandrakes.
    - Killing any living creatures (animals and monsters) decreases his sanity. (The amount of sanity loss varies depending on the killed creature)
    - He does not regain any sanity from scalemail.
    - He is a herbivore and can't eat any meat nor any crock pot food that can be made with meat.
    - He gets hungry fast.
    - Wisp needs few days to recharge, and is not fast enough to catch up with Wool while he runs. (on a road or with a walking cane)

    Wisp
    Wisp is Wool's little companion, which when awoken will follow Wool and assist him with her light and heals. 
    Wisp awakes from the pearl which Wool carries. It takes 1-3 days for each pearl to fully charge.
    When a pearl is charged, place it on the ground and wait 10 seconds for the wisp to wake up. 
    Every wisp will stay with Wool for 1 full day. (Starting from the moment it was awoken)
    Only the silver and golden wisp will stay for longer time.
    After the wisp's time will be up, it'll turn back into the original Sleeping pearl (White pearl).
    UPDATE: 
    Wool will now announce when Wisp will be about to go to sleep.
    The 1st cue "Wisp seems tired" will be given by Wool when there will be about 2 minutes left on Wisp's timer.
    The last warning "Wisp is really tired" will be given by Wool when there will be about 1 minute left on Wisp's timer.
    Wool will also say "Rest well, my little friend" once Wisp falls asleep, helping players notice that Wisp is no longer following them.
    Tip:
    To avoid ending up in the dark when the wisp will suddenly fall back asleep, awake your wisp during the day or dusk.

    Weem
    Weem is a highly educated and intelligent water creature of the night. She loves solitude and spending time learning new things or crafting magical items. She is not too interested in technology related objects.

    Weem can be a pretty difficult character to play as, as her sanity and health keeps on decreasing during the day, and can easily kill her if she won't be properly taken care of.
    She, however, has all of the magical/ancient necklaces and staff (along with few other magical/ancient recipes) already unlocked from the start, and along with her ability to craft gems and use magic without sanity loss, can make her a powerful character when using magic. 

    Stats
    HP - 160  | Sanity - 150  | Hunger - 150
    Neutral perks
    - Planting butterflies will make a dark flower appear instead of a normal one.
    - Her speech can provide the player with few information about the inspected objects. (But they tend to be long)

    Pros
    - Regains sanity during night and in caves.
    - Rain heals her sanity and health.
    - Spiders and merm don't mind her but will still attack her if attacked.
    - Ghosts won't case her even if attacked. (She will still get damaged on contact)
    - She can craft gems, thulecite, living log, spiderhat, and walrus tusk.
    - She has most of the magical/ancient recipes unlocked from the start.
    - She can use the magic/ancient staff without any sanity loss.
    - She can craft from the unlocked ancient recipes without being near the altar.
    - She can craft  a stuffed spider which will make spiders protect her upon witnessing her being attacked.
    - Can craft a rainshell which will call rain when played.
    - She glows in the dark. (Her glow increases during rain and in caves/underground)
    - She runs faster during rain and in caves/underground.
    - She can grow and cut her hair to receive silk.
    - She doesn't lose sanity from moisture. (But still dislikes wet clothes)
    - She can always see the closes sinhole (cave entrance) to her always uncovered on the map when loading/starting the game.
    - Bug net last for much longer when she is using it. (-1% per use) (Just because she needs a lot of butterflies to create more dark flowers for her crafts.)

    Cons
    - Loses A LOT of health during day.
    - Loses sanity during day and dusk.
    - Overheats fast.
    - Pigman and bunnyman hate her and will attack her on sight.
    - Catcoons dislike her and will attack her if approached too close.
    - She can only eat meat and drink blood. (She prefers her meat RAW)
    - Most crock pot foods which can be made with veggies or fruits will damage her health.

    Food

    Waan
    Waan is a cheerful adventurer, filled with love towards technology, lots of excitement, and bad puns. He is always ready to explore, and when he doesn't talk about food or adventure, he loves making fun of everything around him. He in reality is a young prince who always tries to escape his kingdom as he loves the though of adventure a lot more than the though of becoming a king.

    Waan is not too difficult character to play as. He is a very good character for players which love exploring the map and rarely stay in one place or around the camp area. He still might cause troubles during winter as he freezes fast.

    Stats
    HP - 120  | Sanity - 200  | Hunger - 150
    Neutral perks
    - Starts with a backpack, food, a compass, his boomerang Boomy, his royal scarf, and a thermal stone.

    Pros
    - Loses no sanity during night.
    - Can't lose any sanity due to food. 
    - Loses no HP from any kind of meat nor crock pot food.
    - Loses no sanity when using the orange teleport staff.
    - Is not a fuzzy eater and hardly gets any negative effects from food.
    - Can see in the dark.
    - Can craft gears.
    - Walks and runs faster than the normal characters. 
    - He knows how to craft a shovel, a thermal stone, a backpack, a walking cane, a compass, a rope, a crock pot, a spear, a cut stone, and a tent from the start.
    - He is a desert cat and will never overheat.
    - His special weapon Boomy is unbreakable and has high range and damage.
    - He has a collection of maps which let's him see all of the maps fully uncovered.
    - His royal scarf has a high sanity heal.

    Cons
    - Can't gain any sanity from food.
    - Doesn't have much HP.
    - His special weapon Boomy can easily kill or severely damage him if not caught.
    - He is a desert cat and freezes fast.
    - His royal scarf is not too easy to make.
    - He needs to keep the maps with him to see them fully uncovered. (As he tends to forget and the maps get covered up again)

    Bugs

    Few animations might seem wonky.
    Due to the fact that I tried giving to the character different analogies/anatomy, some of the animations might seem weird. (Even though few of them are caused due to the game's texture selection)

    Wisp gets in the way of planting.     -- Fixed in 1.3.7
    Wisp might often get in the way when Wool is trying to plant something. (If that happens, simply make a small step forward and retry doing what you wanted to do.)

    Wisp's timer changes.    -- Fixed in 1.3.8
    After entering a cave/going underground with an active wisp, it's time will reset (But only for the cave).
    Entering/exiting caves, or saving and exiting the game while the wisp is active, it might cause it to change it's timer (sometimes staying a bit longer/shorter)

    Wisps's animation freezes.
    Wisp sometimes right after waking up might look like she is frozen in the air. But that's just the animation waiting for wool to move in order to begin.

    Waan's night vision & Weem's night glow doesn't activate.    -- Fixed in 1.3.7
    Sometimes when the night starts, the character's night vision/glow won't get activated while the character stands near a light source. If that happens, don't worry and simply enter the darkness or turn off the light source, that will activate the night vision/glow immediately.

    Waan's maps don't show in the animation.
    Waan's book does not appear in the reading animation in DS (But it works in RoG)

    Weem's HP decrease is missing the arrow.
    The arrow which indicates a health decrease does not show during the day when Weem is losing HP.

    Other

    The character's have their shadow in the wrong place.
    That's actually not a bug. This is caused by me trying to push the character's textures almost to their limits in an attempt to make the characters taller than the normal ones.

  3. Warfarin, The Tricky Thief!

    Years ago, a moody teenager cobbled together a character mod that did fairly well up until it completely broke. Now, that teenager is back as a responsible adult with a 9-5 job to bring you...
     
    Warfarin: The Tricky Thief
    Stats:
    45 health
    100 hunger
    100 sanity (Drains half as fast in darkness, but twice as fast as default from monsters)
    Mute
    Can dash!
    Hitting the Dash Key will sent Warfarin forwards in a quick dash that will dodge attacks, and Warfarin can dash into the ocean to reappear with a huge hit to their stats! Good for escapes, not so good for general exploring.
    Jumping over a wall will make Warfarin climb and vault over it, making the dash go considerably farther.
    Deals 75% default damage.
    Can pickpocket pigmen at dusk.
    Picks up everything instantly: Berry bushes, grass, crock pots, drying racks, etc.
    Stealth:
    Can hide in trees, berry bushes, tall grass, and saplings. Doesn't work if the saplings or tall grass has been picked.
    Can hide in neutral treeguards for a mobile cover!
    Enemies will see you if they get too close. The distance depends on how much light is nearby.
    With a dagger equipped, you can ambush enemies while stealthed for massive damage! ambushing an enemy leaves them bleeding for a few seconds.
    Throwing knife:
    Long range
    Low damage
    1-use. Has a chance to survive and fall onto the ground where you can pick it back up.
    Get 2 per craft.
    The explosive throwing knife explodes for an extra 100 damage and ignites the target.
    Dagger:
    Attack twice as fast as any other weapon.
    Allows ambushing!
    Flint Dagger:
    Low damage
    Plenty of uses
    Majestic Dagger:
    High damage
    Bit less uses
    Night Dagger:
    Vey High damage
    Few uses
    Ceremonial Dagger:
    High Damage
    Increases ambush range
    Multi-Colored Pestilence:
    Ship-wrecked only
    Not a dagger
    Moderate damage
    Poisons all nearby enemies upon striking.
    Not Very Short Bow:
    Opens up the 'arrow tab'. Plop an arrow in there and you can fire it by attacking!
    Arrows:
    Require the bow to use!
    Long range.
    Normal Arrow:
    Very high damage
    15% for arrow to survive and be retrievable.
    Rock Arrow:
    Very low damage
    Shoot walls to aggro all enemies in the area to the wall. Hay walls have a short aggro range, then wood walls, then stone walls, and ruin walls have the largest range.
    Water Arrow:
    Extinguish things!
    No damage, ludicrous damage to the Dragonfly
    Makes you cold when you're holding it.
    Explosive Arrow:
    Moderate damage
    Ignites enemies
    Explodes after 1-2 seconds of impact, dealing Ludicrous damage to everything nearby
    Makes you overheat when holding it.
    Pointy Arrow:
    High damage
    Makes enemies bleed
    Killing birds and rabbits gives twice the karma loss.
    Shooting even enemies or bosses will give 2 bad karma per shot. It's a pretty nasty weapon!
    Smoke Bomb:
    Throw at your feet to make all enemies stop targetting you! Makes you untargetable for 3 seconds.
    Hallowed Mask:
    Moderate armour
    Can be used to surround yourself with blood-sucking insects to steal health for you!
    Hidey Hood:
    Short duration
    Invisible while not performing actions. Can not ambush.

    This ia a combinashion of the horror sans and ink sans mod created by Fluffy Howl and жорка зеленка , i made this mod as a practice mod and into making chariter mods as they had all the abilitys i wanted in a charater such as food items, faster walking speed and night vishion, i have changed alot of the coding and recipys and the starting items horror comes with to make him a charater mod for the more casrle gamers who stuggle surviving and play for the creative side like me, in no way am i trying to take creddit for the idea, art and consept all of that gose to the origonal creaters but i do want this to be on the steam workshop so my boyfriend and other friends can more easly subscribe so we can all play together.
    hope to hear from you soon and when i learn to do the art and animashion this mod will be updated to evenchaly be changed to gradient sans, for now tho i am too much of a noob to learn how to code the animashions and art in, please add him i would be very greatfull

    Intro
    Flaire is a princess, who would much rather be a spellblade! Secretly training to become one, a strange voice lead her to the Don't Starve world, where she continues her training without interruption...
    Basic usage
    * To cast a spell, you must have a useable weapon in hand. (Swords, spears, tentacle spikes, etc.)
    * Left clicking on the Mana gauge cycles forward in your spell repertoire, and right clicking it cycles backwards. Note that you must have a weapon in hand for this to work.
    Perks



    * Mana gauge:
    Flaire has access to a new resource called Mana; this is her bread and butter. When a spell is cast, it uses up a chunk of mana. Mana regenerates passively only when treading upon nature turf. This makes some places indirectly more dangerous, so be careful! The above means the same for handcrafted turfs like wooden flooring and such. However, she can create a structure that will not only increase mana regen in the area, but also allow you to regen mana on those handcrafted turfs. So don't worry about base building! You can find this structure under the Science tab, and it must be prototyped with an Alchemy Engine.
    * Can cast spells:
    Flaire has the ability to cast spells. These can be used to heal, dish out good damage, and more, utilizing the mana gauge. You start with two base spells, a damaging and a healing spell; however, more can be obtained by defeating enemies, having used at least one spell in the battle. It's a low chance for it to drop, but gets higher with each spell cast. Flaire can also attune to the elements! Well, not by herself. She's not experienced a spellblade enough for that yet! When you face the elements in a rudimentary way, you (potenially forcefully) attune yourself to that element, also known as aspect. Certain aspects enhance some spells, but weaken others. Careful with those fire hounds/moisture meter! Adding to the above, the special power of gems does allow her to activate an aspect on demand, but be careful- once you're in an aspect, you have to ride it out fully!

    * Good with a sword:
    As a spellblade, Flaire is pretty accustomed to sword-casting. Therefore, she's much better at casting spells with sword weapons compared to other weapons (spears, hambat, etc.) When you hit an enemy three times (with a castable weapon), you activate your combo! Your base spells then cost 50% less mana. Note the combo effect won't pop up if you don't have enough mana for a spell. Additionally, she spawns with a blueprint for her very own sword, like Wigfrid has her own spear! (But, you have to craft it first!)  
    * Is a reserved eater
    Eating prepared crockpot foods gives Flaire a certain amount of mana instantly. The amount recovered is determined by the food's hunger value. The bigger it is, the more mana it regens; however, if the meal is too big, she will only recover a small amount of mana. As a princess, she is used to being a bit more reserved at the dinner table. Therefore, you cannot eat foods while full, preventing mass healing/other effects from foods- but most importantly, controls how much mana you can instantly regenerate.  
    Other features include:
    Custom quotes (DS + ROG fully done) Custom voice! Mod support (She can automatically use modded swords to cast, so long as they have the word "Sword" in the name!) If you have a special modded weapon you'd like Flaire to be able to cast with, there are tags you can add to your weapon;
    - "spellbladeflaire_wepSword" for sword weapons
    - "spellbladeflaire_wepOther" for other weapon types Spellcast hotkeys! Configure in mod settings

    Glace was born with a cold heart. His whole body is emitting an aura that slowly freezes
    everything around him.
    But his cold heart does not mean he has a cold heart (pun intended).
    In fact, he really likes to be among friends, but often, he gets rejected with his aura being the
    cause.

    --Has a cold heart--
    His body is like a fridge. Items in his inventory get cooled like in an icebox.
    He furthermore emits an aura which cools everything around him down.
    Butterflies really don't like this because they freeze when they get too close to him.
    He himself does not overheat, which is fine in summer, but...
    --Hates winter--
    He really really hates it. It's his least favorite time of the year.
    His body temperature will not rise beyond a certain point, so the thermic stone and campfires can only do so much and long travel will be certain death, because the cold hurts him really bad. He takes 2.5 times the damage and temperature changes double in speed for him. So prepare yourself.
    --Has a strong mind--
    Living alone most of the time helped him develope an immunity against the sickness called solitude.
    But he really hates dark places. When it gets dark, his strong mind means nothing! His sanity will drain 2.5 times as fast in those situations. If you don't do something you easily loose ~50 sanity per night.
    To counter this fear, he has only one solution...
    --Likes to be among friends--
    Despite his cold heart, he really is most comfortable among his friends. Even the night will mean nothing if he can feel the warmth of another persons heart. This feeling will quickly heal his mental scars.
    --Does not eat much--
    His metabolism is different from most species.
    This brings forth the problem that he often collects too much food which will later perish all at once or he forgets it entirely. This can be deadly during winter.
    --Is a fast runner--
    Glace is not much more than a twig when it comes to his weight.
    And if that was not enough, the ground freezes around him before he comes into contact with it.
    You could say that he slides through his life.
    He is 42 % faster than Wilson.

    I tried to make it not too unbalanced, but not to the point where this character wouldn't be fun to play with.
    I used the Extended Character Template from Dleowolf for which i am quite grateful.

    Hello there, friend. Have you been sick of playing as a human character every time in Don't Starve? Would you rather play as something else? Perhaps more sinister? Maybe... a monster? Or perhaps a pig? Well, hehe, my friend, you've come to the right place. This, is the PLAYABLE MOBS MOD, currently adding in 15 Don't Starve mobs to the playable characters roster! That's right, and more are constantly being added as well. Each one has it's own unique abilities, which can be used by the player to shape the world around them, but not by building, nor starving or surviving, rather by playing the part of the mob you take the role of and wrecking havoc or being a great human ally. This mod currently adds in:

    -Bunnyman
    -Deerclops
    -Depth Worm
    -Dragonfly
    -Ghost
    -Krampus
    -Mactusk
    -Merm

    HOW TO USE ABILITIES:
    Simply find an object which offers you the ability to "pick" it (EX. Sapling, berry bush, etc...) and try to interact with it. Depending on the mob, you'll receive no result to a unique ability being triggered.

    - Add every DS mob to be playable
    - Keep updated
    BUGS:
    - If Mactusk, Bunnyman, Merm, or Pig wear a hat, their head becomes invisible. Hard-coded into DS, not sure if there's a workaround.

  13. WIP - Kindred (League of Legends)

    I saw the old mod from https://forums.kleientertainment.com/files/file/1343-the-lamb-ds-and-rog/ and I was kinda bummed it wasn't finished. I play League of Legends so I kinda loved the idea.

    I don't really mod though, but I can draw! So I decided to improve on the assets the prev. Lamb mod did and made Wolf, too! All in one day! I can't get it to work though, I tried sticking to tutorials but I kinda ended up botching the scripts I think? idk

    I thought of stats for this character, but I wanted MORE! I wanted this mod to be like:
    - Lamb starts with unlimited bow-and-arrow uses (from the archery mod https://forums.kleientertainment.com/files/file/1302-archery-mod-ds/ ) but can only deal enough damage to kill prey creatures (a.k.a. the swift death in her lore)
    - Wolf, I wanted him to be like Wendy's Abigail, doing most of the damage in the kit and being just a floaty boi. Summoned using the Mark of the Kindred item or whatever at any time of the day.
    This is all just concepts though, I have no modding skills whatsoever to make a working follower with Ghost animations (cause wolf is kinda built like that) and I'm satisfied with just doing the art. It was fun lol.

    To whomever can see this and knows how to mod, be my guest please if you want to see what's wrong with this mod haha. I'd love it if anyone of y'all can make it work! I'd love to play them. :3

  16. Wicked in the Merms

    FINAL UPDATE:
    Merms now wear hats. They can also chop and mine if following.
    Now compatible with the original Don't Starve and Reign of Giants!
    If you've had any issue previously this should hopefully fix them. Fingers crossed.
    !!! IMPORTANT !!! - Do not have the original Wicked mod active with Wicked and the Merms as will give you errors.
    I have really tested the basics on this one and rarely play the original oppose to ROG so please let me know if you have any issue. I will try my best to assist. Thank you for your patience.
    If you are interested in what was required to get it working:
    • Firstly remove the giver element for the ShouldAcceptItem on the Merm PostPrefab. In the original giver returns nil in ShouldAcceptItem but if you move all the logic into the OnGetItemFromPlayer that function will accept the giver. Might have been me being a bit naughty and I might of added it in there in the first place but worked with ROG so thought it was okay. I was wrong.
    • Then it's removing anything referencing a season which is on the Merm, Spider, Spider Warrior PostPrefab Targeting and also on the custom Merm Brain.
    • Lastly was the light. It needed to be initialised which in ROG it didn't need to be.
    UPDATE END...
    Ever think to yourself? "What's up with that guy following me?!!"
    Is he a funny pink colour? Making ridiculous noises? Living in a totally stupid looking house?
    If so then Wicked is the character for you. This loveable lizard was raised by Merms; until one day he was kidnapped by an associate of the pigmen!
    Thankfully like said pigmen, the associate was stupid. He left some raw meat in arms reach of Wicked's cage and in moments the cage and associate were no more...
    After his devastating rampage. Wicked vowed to take the fight to the pigmen with bunny and fish in hand!!
    Wicked's Main Features:
    • Obviously number one he is a lizard along with all the pro's and con's that en-tails.
    • Merms are not only friendly but can follow you. Give them pigskin to prove your cause is gonna be a fun one!
    • Why build a stupid straight looking house when you can build a bendy one!! It's 4 times the fun. : )
    • Unlike Wicked's Merm cousins he likes meat. He REALLY likes meat!! In moderation meat likes him too. However too much meat and his ancestors ways will get the better of him...
    Compatibility:
    • will not work with Merm House by Graumaflux as already incorporated into the game.
    Yeah that sounds fun but what do you actually mean by...
    • Wicked has events based on hunger and temperature. It's harder for him to freeze but it also slows him down. He takes more damage from overheating but is also faster from high temperatures.
    • Wicked has a leveling system similar to WX-78. (but much slower) Rather than based on gears, it's meat and meat dishes. Only the standard game foods. Any extra's from mods you'll have to add yourself in the prefab lua.
    • As his level increases he can unlock a bigger stomach and health. With a bigger stomach he can unlock a mightier version of himself with stat bonuses. These stack with the temperature stat changes.
    • Wicked can't build pig houses or Rabbit Hutches. He can build a Merm house. (Rundown house) Merm houses have 4 merms rather than one pig by default. Merms spawn ever 4 days if killed. The houses are 4 times more resources to build and use boards, cut stone, fish and frogs legs.
    • Other minor changes have been made for Wicked siding with Merms but these are not gameplay related so will be a surprise.
    • When Wicked eats too much meat he will transform into Wickzilla!! He is twice as strong as the Werebeaver and needs meat to keep going. However when he changes back into Wicked he loses all levels and experience! The effects of eating meat do decrease over time and he will tell you when he's eating too much meat.
    • Merm's will not attack you but pigmen and bunny men will. If you give a Merm pigskin they will follow you forever. They will attack any enemy on sight when it gets in there range and will keep attacking until they kill it or are killed. In groups they will share targets if close enough. They have a new wander when they are followers so don't just wander home everytime in the same directions. It's designed for about 3 or 4 to run smoothly but you can have as many as you like following but this has not been tested.

    Perks :
    - Is a bee : Yep, he is considered a bee. Spring bees will ignore him, but killer bee hives are still triggered when he comes nearby.
    - Has his own beehive : Ozzy starts the game with a unique beehive. This beehive will try to protect players ( unless they try to attack it or its bees ), spawn stronger bees with poison sting, and can be upgraded with honeycombs by Ozzy.
    - Can produce honey by eating petals : After eating certain number of petals, he will drop 1 honey.
     
    Discussion :
     

    Ozzy has low hunger and sanity, with higher hunger rate, to balance with the bees army. His beehive will try to protect players ( except Webber, he is a monster and deserves  no protection ), spawn stronger bees with some abilities. The bees are kinda useful to defense the base against small and medium monsters, but still very weak against Bosses, so you should not depend on them too much. Also, like any other structures, the beehive will be taken down in 1 hit by The Bearger or Clockwork Rook. The bees are also programmed to not be controlled by The Bee Queen, cuz they are mutant bees anyway.
    Future works : 
    This is my first mod, and I was inspired by the idea of "befriend with mobs and act like one of them" from Webber. There are many things I want to improve in later versions :
    - Add more bee-like behaviors to Ozzy, for example prefer honeyed foods, have pollinator ability, become angry like killer bee, weaker in winter, stronger and aggressive in spring, hate darkness and rain, gain bonus with petals or flower hat, etc
    - Add more ability to bees, for example variant attack effects based on season. Currently poison is the only attack effect. I can also change the AI, make them do more strategy. 
    - Work more on the art. For now I'm to lazy that I borrow Wilson's arms, hands, legs and foots for Ozzy  Also, if the bees and beehive have their own animation, that will be good. Currently I only make them bigger than normal and change the color a bit  
    - Add unique speech lines, currently using Wilson's speech. 
    - Add his own sound, such as bee buzzing, currently using Webber's sound.
    - Maybe a bee weapon for him. For example a blade/spear as of pokemon Beedrill.

    Three kitty character pack! RoG compatible! Adorable custom sounds!
    WISP: the Stray -
    Health - 100
    Hunger - 100 (drains somewhat slowly)
    Sanity - 150 (drains slow at night)
    She's a fighter and has the attack speed and damage to show for it! She's also not too picky about the food she eats and can eat monster meat no prob.
    WYNTER: the Longhair -
    Health - 250
    Hunger - 300
    Sanity - 100
    Slooow, but strong. Has a super thick coat of hair to keep her extra warm (with three sprites for each level of growth after shaven)
    WEI: the Housecat -
    Health - 75
    Hunger - 150
    Sanity - 25
    Has 'nightvision', so he's never REALLY in the dark, but is neurotic and paranoid, so he has pitiful sanity, anyway, but comes a little prepared for trouble. Weak but very fast. Can't stand stale food!
    ALL CHARACTERS:
    - They all have a shavable coat of fur that grows back over time. Winter has loads of fur, Wisp has a good amount, Wei has basically nothing. Winter starts out with a full coat, Wisp and Wei still need to grow theirs out on new game start.
    - As cats, they're all supercarnivores, which means they eat almost solely meat. They'll eat cooked meals with meats and non-meats in them, but won't eat just berries or corn or things of the like, so get hunting!
    -Each have their own unique sounds and dialogue! Note: there are a couple of lines of dialogue that aren't meows (like when you click on a gravestone) because they simply weren't in the standard speech file and I need to go hunt for them to change them :U
    NOTES:
    -Future plans will likely add a handful of craft-able items, most of which are to be determined.
    -If anyone has any thoughts or ideas on balancing or other additions, feel free to voice them! Irrelevant of whether or not I add any suggestions, I'll still take them into consideration and they may affect changes I add later
    -I've been told that eating monster meat without penalty simply doesn't work in the base game, only with RoG, but you can still eat stale food without problem with Wisp.

  19. Wanda, Nature's Frenemy

    While Wanda is entirely playable in her current form, I still consider her a Work In Progress due to more features to come. The texture art has been completed, anim seems to be working correctly now, I wanted to release it as a beta to start public playtesting. Next we need custom sound (currently it's just the violin from the unimplemented character, Wallace). Speech script is half done but not yet uploaded (this beta is still Wilson), however everything below has been coded. There are more features to come in the Further Development section.     Based off of Dragon Wolf Leo's Extended Sample Character
    Kodi for all (DLC)
     
    Stats:
    Health: 150 Hunger: 125 Sanity: 130 Damage reduced by 5% Speed is 5% higher. All parameters except the character’s speed can be adjusted when creating the world.
    The character has a custom voice.
    Character features:
    *Fur.
    Kodi grows fur that can be trimmed and used in crafting his special items. Clipping wool restores 10 sanity. Kodi has 3 states: 1. In which Kodi is with normal hair and does not have any buffs or negative effects. 2. Kodi has grown a little wool, the resistance to cold increases and the resistance to high temperatures decreases, begins to overheat faster and takes damage if overheated above 60 degrees. 3. Kodi has grown his coat a lot, he overheats even faster, resistance to cold is stronger than the previous one, begins to take damage when the temperature reaches above 55 degrees.
    *Fear of the dark.
    In the evening and at night. Sanity decreases faster than other characters.
    *Vulnerability to moisture.
    The character gets wet faster than other characters, and also dries longer than other characters.
    * Transformation Kodi.
    - You can change the look at any time with the (Z) key.
    - In the mod’s settings, you can select another key.
    - Transformation quickly spends hunger. - Increases character speed to (1.40).
    - Damage increases to (2).
    - Changing the appearance takes the sanity (-25), hunger (-15).
    - Upon transition to a normal appearance, sanity is restored (+10).

    A kitsune mask is a special and difficult item available only to Kodi. The mask absorbs 10% of all incoming damage while wearing, slows down the depletion of hunger by 50%, when worn, the mask takes away 15 sanity, and also passively restores sanity during the day. When removed, it takes 5 life units. It has an active ability for disguise, when activated, it spends 10 sanity, and absorbs all incoming damage, even Charlie's attack in the dark, in exchange for the durability of the mask itself.
